The seeker may visualize me as a great shining sapphire. I send out beams of light in various shades of blue and these are my emanational forms. My current form is itself an emanation for the great buddha is infinite and would not be able to fit inside a human mind.
People interested in spirituality or the supernatural often exist in a liminal space between the natural and supernatural. It has both light and dark aspects and most people interested in the supernatural are attracted by the dark side with ghosts and monsters and strange magical powers.
There is little interest in the bright supernatural.
This is why mystics and prophets often lead lonely lives. Their values are generally alien to the cultures in which they live. Many spiritual people are weakened by illness and the process of purification. Eastern ascetics and the desert fathers of the early Church often starved in caves retreating from the world when they went through the purification process.
You have the desire to change the earth and fix its problems. You cannot change an earthquake, you can only show people ways to stay safe from its damage. When the mass of bad karma rises to corrupt an entire nation, it hides alternative options. I am showing a way out of the earthquake of corruption.
Spirit is the hidden door that avoids being bound to rebirth and to war.
War creates both hatred and desire for revenge. Ignorance creates action without [rational] thought. Ignorance, hatred, and desire are powerful [karmic] bonds. In the realm of matter they create pride and heroism. In the realm of spirit, they create gaping wounds which cannot be filled or healed. Desire is endless.
These are wounds that bind people to rebirth, to kill and be killed, time and again, to be repeated over and over again.
Spirit is the still small voice, the path from the jungle to the mountaintop. The peak shines against the blue sky.
The yogi must walk the path of sapphires. Every footstep should affirm the true nature of spirit. Every action should recognize the emptiness within suffering. This is not the emptiness of unfulfilled desire. It is the recognition of the true nature of all mind and matter.
For the true [renunciant] yogi, the world dissolves into light and all form is recognized as illusion. But for house-holder yogis, all events are recognized as parts of a greater whole, and all actions are part of the dance of creation. When the dance is over [and life ends], there is no mourning but rather applause.
For those who wish to meditate on me, visualize a giant sapphire in space, its brilliant facets reflecting blue light in all directions. As the mind contemplates its beauty, the soul transcends it and enters the Void of the evening sky. There is then silence throughout the universe.
I hear Edith Piaf's song in French, "je ne regrette rien" - "I regret nothing."
All sorrow, strife, guilt, and fear are left behind.
The path through the gem is lit by blue flames. The entrance into the Void is like jumping off a towering waterfall into space. It is a joyous return.
