In my royal form, I am the Lapis Lazuli King, the ruler of deep blue light whose kingdom is a silent blue meditation garden, with a cobalt blue sky full of stars and sapphire blue lakes with fragrant lotuses.

For meditation, my gardens have rivers of healing, and flowers of strength and beauty. Visitors enter a waiting room shimmering with deep blue opal light. It has blue-white fire of purification through which all visitors must pass. Desires and sins rise as smoke.

The soul does a prostration and its request for healing rises into the air in the form of an image. It may be an image of a ill person, a landscape that is bleak and baron, or a country at war. Whatever the situation, it rises over the prostrate form of the soul like a living picture.

I determine the karmic basis for the problem. If it is minor, I will send healing winds and the harmonious music that calms suffering.

But if the karma is complex and powerful, then the situation must play itself out. I may send clarifying dreams to explain the deeper origins of the problem with recognition of its necessity, or alternative ways to interpret events. There are many ways to heal.

The soul is then dismissed in a sparkling fog of midnight blue light.

I am related to the Vajrayana Buddha Akshobya whose devotees follow a path made of the sound of hollow drumbeats to reach him. But he sits silently dissolving illusions and desires while I am more interactive and involved as I take on the role of healer.
